Privacy at Casvell.
Casvell is designed around private collections and deliberate data use. Casvell is currently operated by Turki Al-Dhfayan in an individual capacity. This pre-launch notice describes the information the service is expected to process and will be updated before the public app launch as production providers, retention periods and account-control processes are finalized.

Early access and launch updates
If you join Casvell’s early access list, Casvell stores the email address you provide, your subscription status, the fact that you consented to launch communications, the signup source, and signup/update timestamps. This information is used to manage the early access list and send Casvell launch and early-access communications. It is not sold. You may ask to unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@casvell.app.
Information Casvell may process
Depending on the features you use, Casvell may process account identifiers, collection and inventory records, journal and smoking history, recommendation preferences and feedback, lounge or locker relationships, camera captures used for cigar identification, and limited technical diagnostics.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure the Casvell service, maintain your collections and history, support catalog and identification workflows, provide first-party recommendations, operate lounge and inventory features, troubleshoot reliability issues, and respond to support requests.
Camera and identification
Camera capture is intended for cigar identification. Casvell's current design keeps captured images memory-only for the identification flow and does not automatically add them to inventory or use them to train a model without a separately governed basis.
Personalization
Recommendation features are designed to use first-party signals associated with your own Casvell activity. Casvell does not currently use cross-user taste profiling, advertising profiles, or third-party recommender services.
Lounge and collection privacy
Personal inventory is private by default. Features that make a cigar available within a lounge are designed to expose only the information needed for that purpose, not your complete private inventory, locker details, contact information, or private history.
Data sharing
Casvell does not sell personal information. Production infrastructure providers may process limited information on Casvell's behalf where necessary to host, secure, monitor, or operate the service. Provider details will be added to this notice before public launch.
Retention and account controls
Retention periods and the final account deletion process are being finalized for launch. Casvell intends to preserve audit and integrity records only where required for legitimate operational, security, or legal purposes.
